The Galesburg Civic Art Center is working with the Seminary Street Historic District on artist participation at First Friday Events during 2010. Artists will be chosen to participate on a first come, first served basis. You will receive a confirmation of your dates when your application is received. If you have any questions, please contact the Galesburg Civic Art Center.

The participation requirements are as follows:
Artists may participate at only two First Friday events and they cannot be in back to back months. There will be a participation fee of $10 (made payable to the Seminary Street Historic District) for each participation.
Participation is on a first come, first served basis for each available date. A waiting list will be created in the event of cancellations.
Artists are encouraged to be working throughout the event. If special arrangements (i.e. electricity) need to be made, please fill out the designated section on this form and the Art Center will see if the request can be arranged and contact you.
Work can be available for sale. Proceeds from sales are solely the artist’s.
The advertised event will take place from 5-8pm. Set up can take place the day of the event at any time after 9am. The artist may have work available throughout the day, however the artist MUST be present from 5-8pm. If you have signed up and are not available during the 5-8 time slot, you will forfeit your ability to participate at future events.
Participation forms must be completed and returned to the Art Center at least two weeks prior to the requested date. Artists are encouraged to sign up early. For early sign up, cancellation must be made two weeks before the event.
